I was born in CT and went to public schools here I went to UConn earning a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Biology pre-med. I worked in many fields over the years from particle beam accelerators for radiation oncology, US Navy developing the first GPS for all naval aircraft, Sikorsky aviation systems, Telecom fiber optic transport, F35 flight controls and engine controls, Space navigation for the Orin mars space craft, nuclear power engineering military and commercial, to micro processor and control development.
I will put this background to use to help you here in CT.
I have been chairman of the cable TV advisory council and state wide video counsel using my telecom back ground. I testified at the Energy and technology Committee in Hartford on MPEG compression impacts to signal quality. You are only allowed 3 minutes to testify, so I made up a 10-page presentation with details and handed them out and began explaining how this degrades the video and audio. I was asked many questions by the committee and I was still talking after 45 minutes. They told me it was the best presentation they ever had on the subject and asked me if I knew anything to help them with power. Yes was the answer. If I was a member of that committee I could get into the details and stop the uncontrolled increases we see in our power suppliers
Another example how my background will help. The first thing that gets hammered into an engineering student is to put your money into the preamp or sensor! Why? It is very difficult and at times impossible to remove noise and poor precision after it is amplified. Put this concept forward for buying a home! All the so called loan forgiveness and grants will not help you compete for a home for sale. We need to prevent outside brokers and rich buyers from outside CT from grabbing every empty home in site driving up the prices so no one can afford them.
One of the most important topics today is affordable homes in CT. Affordable housing is typical in city centers but no one in our area wants these boxes. We need affordable HOMES.
If you believe that CT residents should have advantages over non residences and brokers than a vote for me and will get you there.
How can we do this?
We can modify the convenance fees to be increased for all buyers as a percentage of the selling price. The added percent of the sale for this will go into a fund in the state. Those purchasing a new home can apply for a refund if they are CT private residents. If first time buyers a one-time forgiveness fee will be added to lower the listed price from the fund. The details will follow.
When I am elected to this office, I will make this a priority
I need your help now to be able to help you

I will help the people by creating new options not thought of before. We can do great things when we work together.
The news on 3 July actually has the idea I have for home sales to support buyers now in the works.
Could CT fight homelessness with a ‘mansion tax’? Yes, report says
